Phor Ref

Took awhile to make and redesigned him a lot, but finally have him figured out enough to work it. Yeahz!  

 

Name: Phor (sounds like Four, yes)
Species: Orekroak (Canopy, llumor and shadow breed mixed that was refined a little bit through breeding) Formerly a Soul Collector 
Age: Juvenile (I don't know how Orekroaks age but his age would differ depending on what planet it is on. So he is just young) 
Gender: Hermaphrodite (People refer to him as a male)  
Personality: Obedient, well mannered, gets easily excited when he finds something he likes, extremely curious and affectionate, naive and sometimes too trusting  
Likes: Flower petals, bright colored or shiny things, flying and Rajah
Dislikes: Nasty creatures of Hup and thunderstorms 


Phor was a Soul Collector on whatever planet he was located on. Soul Collectors are a variety of reapers but they are not present when someone dies nor do they bring death, they just gather wondering souls, mostly of animals and plants. Because they can't die and just keep existing, eventually some of them can get bored. So they have the option of living a life of a normal creature found on their planet. While they are alive they forget that they were originally a Soul Collector and live a normal life. When they die, only then do they regain their memories in the afterlife and become a Soul Collector again.

After some number of years as a Soul Collector Phor decided to live as a Orekroak, which were kept as pets on the planet he was located on. Phor was born to a fancy female with a pedigree and a stray roving male who's originals were unknown. This made Phor considered to be a mutt and was sole for a lower price when he was a pup. He was purchased by a ex-soldier with Post Trauma Stress Disorder. Phor helped his owner coped with his problems and kept him calm and get through daily life. His own did his best top keep Phor happy and taught him some things. He took Phor hunting a few times but Phor didn't take well to getting dirty. Phor did used to hunt the little vermin that plagued their small house and would bring them to his master as gifts. After some number of years something happened to his master. Phor simply says "He didn't get back up," when asked about what happened. 

At some point after this the DeathTones got Phor, probably during one of their raids. They ran some experiments on him; mostly intelligent and ability tests. He took well to Moray and Ernesto during his time with the DeathTones. Eventually Ivory got a hold him and they decided to visit Hup, the home world of the Orekroaks, however Phor didn't take well to being wild. Being a former pampered pet with very little knowledge of the wilds, Phor couldn't cope with living wild. He only knew how to hunt small prey and disliked being uncomfortable and paranoid about getting dirty. Aniju decided to keep Phor with the group so now he with them permanently with Ernesto caring for him until they can find somewhere safer to keep him. 

Phor is naive and inexperienced with the wild so he couldn't live on Hup, and he didn't really want too. Experience other planets and learn new things was more appealing to him. Phor likes learning new things about anything. He curious about everything which tends to get him into trouble from time to time. He likes bright colored things and anything shiny that catches his eye, he'll collect them. He likes flowers too, he'll eat the petals but he till also give them to people he really likes. He's well behaved because he had obedience training but when he gets excited all that goes out the window. He doesn't like loud noised and is afraid of thunder storms, however he likes splashing in the puddles of water afterwards. This get's him dirty though which he hates. He'll spend hours grooming himself until he feels he's clean. Phor is also very naive and trusting of others which can be a bad thing and has been in the past. He will also hide any negative emotions he has from others and will put others needs before his own. He'll go out of his way to make others feel better because that's what he did for his former Master. 

Some Sidenotes: Aniju is aware that Phor was a Soul Collector but she decided to not tell him about it. Phor name is meant to sound like the number 4 because in Chinese the word four is considered an unlucky number because their word for 4 sounds like their word for Dead.
